SGA Switching Device – SGA05A01 – SWTCH-EOL DIFFERENTIAL PRESS
Key Features
- Switching pressure difference 50 or 100 bar
- Working pressure 400 bar
Design
Two compression springs hold the metallically sealed piston of the SG-A with ram and an enclosed switching device in place. It also includes a limit switch secured in place by a safety plate to which these components are fastened.
Function
Lubricant is supplied to mainline A during the first lubricating cycle. Relief occurs in mainline B. The lower compression spring’s springiness causes the piston to displace downward due to the pressure buildup in mainline A. About 50 or 100 bar of differential pressure between the two main lines causes the limit switch’s piston to close contacts 1 and 2. The system’s electric control reverses the 4/2-way valve as a result of this pulse. Lubricating cycle number two is initiated by the 4/2-way valve reversing, which supplies lubricant to mainline B while relieving the main line A. The piston is forced upward against the upper compression spring’s springiness due to the pressure buildup in mainline B. A fresh reversion process begins when the pressure differential between the two main lines reaches around 50 or 100 bar. This is achieved by the limit switch’s piston closing contacts 3 and 4.
